Training of Teachers on Safety of Journalists Model Course

Training workshop for teachers from universities in Palestine providing journalism education on the UNESCO/IFJ Model Course on the Safety of Journalists developed recently by UNESCO and IFJ specifically for the Arab region.

The course has already been presented to the deans of journalism faculties last September, who welcomed it. Several universities are planning to integrate the course in their regular curriculum for journalism education as of next semester.

It is a specialized consecutive training workshop with the academic staff assigned to teach the course in the different universities. UNESCO will partner with IFJ and the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate in the organization of this activity
