Libreville

The UNESCO Office in Libreville was established in 1998. As a national office, its activities fall within the programmatic framework of UNESCO and the priorities of the Government of Gabon, under collaboration with the Regional Office of the UNESCO in Yaoundé. The Office is engaged in the process of mobilizing partners for achieving the objectives of sustainable development. Through the partnership with mobile phone company Airtel, the Office of Libreville is implementing the project "Train My Generation - Gabon 5000" aimed at training 5,000 young people in Information and Communications Technology.
