World Meeting of Historical Urban Landscape in Puebla, Mexico

The meeting will be held in February 2017 and will bring together 25 to 30 national and international experts, as part of the celebrations of the 485th Anniversary of the foundation of the city and the National Assembly of the Heritage Cities.
The meeting will contribute to establishing a regional network of experts on sustainable urban development and cultural and historical cityscapes. It will also include the results of regional surveys conducted under the UNESCO Global Report on Culture and Sustainable urban development, and continue discussions on the New Urban Agenda, which will be adopted at the Third Conference of the United Nations on housing and sustainable urban development (Habitat III - Quito, Ecuador, October 2016), based on the key messages of the UNESCO Global Report.
