Information meeting with Permanent Delegations on the UNESCO Policy on Engaging with Indigenous Peoples

The information meeting aims to provide UNESCO Permanent Delegations with an update on the development of a house-wide UNESCO policy on engaging with indigenous peoples, including the basis for the development of the policy, and an overview of UNESCO’s activities in relation to indigenous peoples.
The event contributes to the celebration of the 10th year of the adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (2007-2017).
