    Une consultation des jeunes sur le VIH/SIDA, avec pour thème central : « Mobilisation de la jeunesse pour le changement de comportement», a été organisée à Bujumbura, au Burundi, du 19 au 21 octobre 2004 par le Bureau Régional de l'UNESCO à Nairobi. L'atelier avait pour but de permettre aux participants de finaliser les plans d'action nationaux initiés lors du forum panafricain des jeunes qui a eu lieu à Dakar, en mars 2004.
