    This guide assists teachers in educating young people to develop healthy and responsible attitudes. It covers topics such as sexuality, drug use, basic good hygiene and awareness on HIV and AIDS. The guide covers a broad range of topics and is intended for use from kindergarten to Primary 11/12. It covers the topics in a sequential age-specific manner providing the appropriate information for each of the classes between kindergarten and P11/12 in a progressive and reinforcing way. It is a useful guide for curriculum planners and programme coordinators involved in HIV and AIDS education.

  3. Youth alive initiatives project

    This programme is included in the Source Book of HIV/AIDS Prevention Program that presents 13 cases studies of good and promising practices of HIV/AIDS prevention programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Midlands AIDS Service Organisation (MASO) targets 10 -24 year olds, in and out-of-school youth in urban and rural areas of the Midlands province of Zimbabwe.
