拉丁美洲和加勒比地区

        教科文组织拉丁美洲和加勒比地区教育办事处和该地区其它11个代表处协助政府落实公共政策的实施，并鼓励民间社会参与教育发展。  

        教科文组织拉丁美洲及加勒比地区国际高等教育研究所(IESALC)位于委内瑞拉的加拉加斯，该机构重视高等教育项目的开发。教科文组织国际教育规划研究所(IIEP)布宜诺斯艾利斯分所帮助规划和管理全国教育系统。
