History
1 Sep 1952, Recklinghausen (Germany FR). Originally referred to as EURODIDAC, in full: Association européenne de matériel didactique -- Europäischer Lehrmittelverband; name subsequently changed to European Association of Manufacturers and Distributors of Educational Materials -- Association européenne de fabricants et de revendeurs de matériel didactique -- Verband Europäischer Lehrmittelfirmen and then to listed title. Current statutes adopted, 31 Aug 2012. Registered according to Swiss Civil Code.
Aims
Further improvement in education and encourage creation of better educational materials and their production by industry suppliers, while simultaneously facilitating sales of educational and training materials throughout the world.
