Powering sustainable development with public access to information

IPDC Talks to mark the first international Day for Universal Access to Information

In partnership with the Information for All Programme (IFAP)

On 26 September, the IPDC hosted a day-long event titled “Powering sustainable development with public access to information”. The event, called the “IPDC Talks”, was held with the purpose of celebrating this first International Day for Universal Access to Information, and highlighted the key importance of Access to Information in the success of implementation of the SDGs.  It consisted of a series of innovative and dynamic talks by which philosophers, journalists, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, academics and community leaders working towards the achievement of different SDGs around the world reflected on the key role of access to communication in their efforts.
