UNESCO Director-General meets with President-elect of Bulgaria

On 24 November 2016, during her visit to Bulgaria, UNESCO Director-General, Irina Bokova, met with the President-elect of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.

The Director-General congratulated Mr Radev on his election and wished him success. She underlined UNESCO’s commitment to continue its close cooperation with Bulgaria.

The Director-General and President-elect discussed different aspects of cooperation between UNESCO and Bulgaria and explored possibilities for its further deepening.
