As a State Party to the World Heritage Convention, Angola is preparing a detailed Tentative List in order to have several cultural sites on the World Heritage List.

The country has received considerable funding to be injected into a museum project.

In the field of crafts, a training project has been launched concerning the protection and marketing of craft objects.

The other areas of cooperation between Angola and UNESCO involved the cultural approach to HIV and AIDS prevention and cure, redefinition of cultural policies, and activities for the Slave Route project.
