Three cultural and two natural sites are inscribed for the Philippines on the World Heritage List. One of these—the rice terraces of the Philippine Cordillera—is inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger because of threats to this evolving, delicately balanced cultural landscape that calls for overall protection. The country receives assistance from UNESCO for this dossier and for training and cultural tourism.
