The Institution is connected to the Ministry of Education and is active in the field of technological education, aiming at offering the following: Engineering and related courses at undergraduate level; other courses at undergraduate level in science an d technology for the qualification of teaching staff in high schools, engineering and technology colleges; courses at the graduate level in response to specific technological education demands; and specialisation courses in different sectors of technolo gical education.
The Institution is also active in developing various research activities in the fields of interest for industry and technology, as well as participating in joint projects together with public and private corporations.
