Education pour tous en Amérique Amérique latine et Caraïbes : évaluation et défis pour l’agenda post-2015

The Meeting will provide a valuable opportunity for Ministers of Education to analyze and debate the progress of the region in meeting the six EFA objectives by 2015. As importantly, this meeting will highlight the main challenges and priorities that will configure the post-2015 regional education agenda, bearing in mind the socioeconomic and demographic transformations that affect the region. The outcome of the meeting will also represent a regional perspective to be included in the post-2015 global education agenda, which will be approved by all Member States at the final “Global EFA Forum”, May 2015, Republic of Korea.

The working sessions will be based upon the following: a) The national progress reports on the six EFA objectives by 2015; b) A synthesis report prepared by OREALC/UNESCO Santiago on the state of EFA in the region; and, c) The report and declaration resulting from the Global EFA Meeting organized in Oman, 12-14 May 2014.

Ministers of Education, high-level government officials , representatives of civil society organizations, organizations sponsoring the Education for All movement and others United Nations (UN) agencies, development partners, and members of academia and the private sector.
