Prev Questions/Answers 5 of 13 Next

At present 15 countries take part in funding the Associate Experts’ scheme: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Norway, Republic of Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Every year the scheme provides young professionals with the opportunity to work at UNESCO and help strengthen the Organisation’s work in one of its fields of action: education, science, culture, communication, or in administration.

In order to be eligible to become an Associate Expert, you must be a national of one of the countries that funds the scheme.

For more information, including about the eligibility criteria for application to the scheme, how to apply, the training Associate Experts receive, and the status and entitlements of Associate Experts, go to www.unesco.org/employment.
