L'ORGANISATION

Depuis sa création, l'UNESCO reconnaît aux organisations non gouvernementales qui ont des préoccupations proches des siennes le rôle important qu'elles jouent dans la coopération internationale au service des peuples.

Depuis plus d'un demi-siècle, elle a tissé avec nombre d'entre elles un réseau précieux de relations de coopération dans ses domaines de compétence, y trouvant un moyen privilégié d'associer la société civile à son œuvre et de diffuser largement ses idéaux éthiques et démocratiques.

Par ailleurs, elle travaille en partenariat avec d’autres agences des Nations Unies.
