EDUCATION

    Bahamas

      The Bahamas joined UNESCO on April 23, 1981. The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office for the Caribbean in Kingston, Jamaica.

      According to the Bahamian authorities, the country is determined to achieve all the goals of the Education for All (EFA) Programme. The Bahamas is home to one UNEVOC Centre.
