World Environment Day is celebrated every year on the 5th of June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth.

This year’s slogan is: Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care.

UNESCO is promoting education for sustainable development to shape the values, skills and knowledge that all societies need today.  Sustainability will be built on the benches of schools, starting as early as possible.

This is an occasion to work together to take action for the planet and to responsibly take care of its natural resources.  So try to get everyone you know interested in helping make a difference.

-              Try to beautify your school environment by planting gardens

-              Make sure people have a way of reducing, reusing and recycling in your school

-              Imagine something amazing that could protect the environment

We only get one planet, so let's keep it clean and beautiful for generations to come!
