Preventing cancer: science at the service of health

Seventh UNESCO-Paris Match Scientific Forum

Studies have shown that we can avoid 40% of cancers by reducing risk factors and by early detection. Risk factors are influenced by genetics and certain types of lifestyle which can contribute to a higher risk of developing a cancer. The 7th UNESCO-Paris Match Forum aims to demonstrate the scientific basis for making wise health choices to avoid developing a cancer and once cured, having a relapse. More
