    To better understand the current situation of sexuality education at school and the barriers for implementing effective programs, more research on educators and their experiences within the context of professional development is needed. Thus, we reviewed the broader curriculum and policy content for sex education in Australian tertiary teaching institutions, as well as the availability and content of pre-service teacher training.

    The Thai Ministry of Education, the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), and the Horizons Program embarked on a study to examine the outcomes of a school-based HIV/AIDS programme called "Teens on Smart Sex" for Thai college students.     The curriculum on counselling for reproductive health is intended for heath care providers, supervisors, and the managers for the programmes in which they work. The curriculum aims to help in developing knowledge about, skills in, attitudes toward, and comfort with effective communication and counselling in all areas of reproductive health, including sexuality. The counselling skills addressed are relevant to the provision of both preventive and curative health services through the particiapants' national health systems.
