  1. Report on the assessment of the functional literacy levels of the adult population in Cambodia

This study is an assessment of literacy in Cambodia with the stance that there is a strong relationship between literacy, poverty and quality of life. This assessment is based upon a test administered to 6,548 respondents who were randomly selected from every province in Cambodia with special effort made to reach people in inaccessible areas. The report provides both quantitative and qualitative data on literacy and its special relation to poverty, life skills and other social factors.
