    To assist Member States in preparing and submitting their 2010 Country Progress reports, UNAIDS has released the new UNGASS Guidelines on Construction of Core Indicators for 2010 reporting. The new guidelines provide essential information on the composition of core indicators for reporting including the purpose of the indicator, methods of measurement and a summary interpretation of the indicator. The guidelines are also intended to ensure consistency of information across countries for accurate global progress analysis.

  4. Commercial sex workers (CSWs) HIV/AIDS and their life skills: an analytical study undertaken in Delhi

    This article is based on the research conducted by Delhi University in India under its Population Education Resource Centre programme. A questionaire was developed to collect information from nearly 150 Commercial Sex Workers of Delhi. It was an empercal study to know knowledge, awareness and behavioural change due to fear of HIV/AIDS and other secually transmitted infections. The research noticed lack of communication and negotiation skills among most of the CSWs, the possible loss oif income, lack of support, and external control are the reason for the lack of condom usage. …
