IYA2009 : Closing Ceremony


Astronomy, being the oldest science, introduces mathematics and physics, and involves other sciences such as chemistry, biology and geology, as well as engineering. UNESCO shares the view that astronomy fosters a modern concept of science and can reinforce the link between science education and science careers. (More)
