This exhibition presents the scientific advances of recent years in the field of astronomy and space studies, including NASA's Magic Planet and ViewSpace and works of art and the heritage inspired by astronomy.

The exhibition is an integral part of the international symposium being held by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and UNESCO on "The Role of Astronomy in Society and Culture" from 19 to 23 January 2009.
