How to virtually or physically visit UNESCO Headquarters?

If you don't have the opportunity to come to Paris, just take a Virtual Tour of UNESCO Headquarters.

To visit UNESCO, please contact us at: visits@unesco.org

  • The visit lasts approximately one hour and includes:
    a film about UNESCO activities,
    a guided tour of Headquarters building and its works of art, including the Japanese garden.

  • Group Tours
    (by reservation only) 30 persons maximum

  • English: Tuesday at 10a.m. OR 3p.m, Wednesday at 10.00am
    French: Thursday at 10a.m. OR 3p.m., Friday at 10.00am.

  • Individual Visitors
    (by reservation only) from 1 to 15 persons

  • English: Monday at 3p.m.
    French: Wednesday at 3p.m.

  • Important:

  • Reservations should be made, at least, three months in advance.

    Visitors are kindly requested to bring an ID card with photo form for security purposes.

    UNESCO reserves the right to cancel, modify the schedule or length of tours if the conference programme (General Conference, Executive Board or special events) renders it necessary.
