Formal declaration of accession by the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the Statutes of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM)

On 22 May 2006, the Lao People's Democratic Republic deposited with the Director-General a formal declaration of accession to the Statutes of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), in conformity with Article 2, paragraph 2, of the Statutes.

In accordance with the terms of Article 2, paragraph 4, of the above-mentioned Statutes, the membership of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in ICCROM will take effect thirty days following receipt by the Director-General of the formal declaration of accession, that is to say on 21 June 2006.
