Culture

    Timor-Leste and UNESCO cooperate in the framework of the action programme for Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States.

    A UNESCO Member State since 2003, Timor-Leste has focused its cooperation with the Organization on two areas: world heritage and training of personnel for museums and cultural centres whose collections suffered in the recent conflict.
