Chavín Archaeological Site (Peru)
The World Heritage Committee,
1. Having examined Document WHC-07/31.COM/7B,
2. Regrets that the State of Conservation report was not submitted in one of the working languages of the World Heritage Convention;
3. Notes that in light of Paragraph 172 of the Operational Guidelines, no detail has been submitted for the construction of the Chavín National Museum project, in order that the World Heritage Centre and ICOMOS might evaluate its potential impact on the property and therefore, invites the State Party to submit to the World Heritage Centre the draft Emergency Plan and the Chavín Conservation project;
4. Requests the State Party to submit to the World Heritage Centre, by 1 February 2009, the completed Management Plan for examination by the Committee at its 33rd session in 2009.
