The country hosts the UNESCO Cluster Office in Yaoundé, which covers Cameroon, the Central African Republic and Chad.

Cameroon’s involvement in the Solar Village Project has been very fruitful, resulting in the creation of a demonstration solar village in N’Gaoundere, the production of training materials for children, students of technical schools and community leaders, training sessions for over 100 representatives of women's associations and community leaders and the dissemination of the resulting material in neighbouring countries.

Below you can access the projects that are currently being implemented in the country within the framework of UNESCO’s Natural Sciences Sector.
