The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office in Yaoundé, Cameroon.


Chad is involved in a UNESCO project that aims to establish a virtual laboratory for researchers working on large drying lakes and interior seas, such as Lake Chad. The project aims to develop information and communication services as well as work facilities for scientists.
