Workshop : Gender Equality and Progress in Societies (12 March 2010, 9 am to 7 pm, OECD)

The Workshop on "Gender Equality and Progress in Societies" will take place on 12 March 2010, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in OECD Development Centre :
2 rue André Pascal, 75775 Paris Cedex 16.

In collaboration with the OECD Development Centre, UNESCO will co-host an international workshop entitled Gender Equality and Progress in Societies.

The participants will include high-level policymakers, government representatives, representatives from donor agencies and gender equality experts, as well as development practitioners from international organizations, non-governmental organizations and research institutes.

The workshop will chart policies and develop common understanding on the best ways to measure and address remaining gaps in gender equality.
