The International Ministerial Conference on Dialogue among Civilizations: Quest for New Perspectives

The Conference was conceived to become a major contribution to defining global interaction of the 21st century through the lenses of intercultural dialogue and mutual interaction between cultures and civilizations. It focuses on issues at the heart of UNESCO‘s mandate:

• education as an instrument of dialogue;


• science and technology (incl. IT) as the new frontiers for global unity and connectivity;


• preservation of cultural diversities and spiritual values in an era of globalization.
