"Concrete and sustained activities – so as to make the dialogue among cultures and civilizations a reality of our daily life – should be designed and implemented in all regions by the widest range of partners and stakeholders possible, thus buttressing peace within and among the nations.

The challenge is to build on the already numerous declarations, reports and initiatives for the Dialogue among cultures and civilizations, strengthening these initiatives, making them sustainable and translating them into concrete and specific measures that can realistically be implemented within a given time-line."
