2008 International Essay Contest - Goi Peace Foundation, UNESCO and the Earthrise Society

The Goi Peace Foundation, UNESCO and the Earthrise Society are holding an International Essay Contest for youth on creating a positive change in communities. The deadline for submissions is June 30th 2008.

We are pleased to announce that the Goi Peace Foundation, UNESCO and the Earthrise Society are inviting young people from around the world to participate in the 2008 International Essay Contest. The theme of this year’s contest is : “My project to create positive change in my environment. How can I foster sustainable development in my community? Please submit your innovative ideas and concrete plans/projects to address the social, cultural, environmental or economic problems faced by your community”. First prize winners will receive a cash award and a trip to Japan. The deadline for entry is June 30, 2008. You can find the complete guidelines on the website of the Goi Peace Foundation.
