UNESCO's response to HIV and AIDS

This booklet provides illustrations of the range of activities that UNESCO undertakes to respond to HIV and AIDS and to support strong action to overcome the impact of the epidemic.

This document provides an overview of what UNESCO does in the field of HIV and AIDS in all of its sectors.

In particular, the publication presents:

• UNESCO's approach to HIV and AIDS;
• A list of activities undertaken at all levels through the work of UNESCO at Headquarters and in regional, cluster and country offices, as well as work undertaken in collaboration with other UNAIDS cosponsors and key partners.
