UNAIDS IATT on Education launches a CD-ROM of its resources

On World AIDS Day 2009, the UNAIDS Inter-Agency Task Team (IATT) on Education is pleased to launch a CD-ROM of technical resources to advance the education sector response to HIV and AIDS.

UNAIDS IATT on Education launches a CD-ROM of its resources

Resources developed by the IATT on Education seek to strengthen policy and programmatic action in the area of education and HIV & AIDS, to generate awareness and mobilise commitment, and to enhance coordination in support of the attainment of the Education for All (EFA) goals and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Included on the CD-ROM are advocacy briefs, toolkits and other technical materials in a range of languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.)

These resources are one part of the IATT on Education’s efforts to advance the evidence base, and to promote and share good practices on education sector responses to HIV and AIDS.

Formed in 2002, the UNAIDS IATT on Education is convened by UNESCO and brings together UNAIDS Cosponsors and multilateral organizations, bilateral agencies, private donors and civil society partners with the purpose of accelerating and improving a coordinated and harmonised education sector response to HIV.
