UNESCO’s Division for Gender Equality in the Bureau of Strategic Planning, is composed of:

Ms Saniye Gülser CORAT, Director of the Division
Ms Anna Maria MAJLOF, Programme Specialist
Ms Lydia Rebecca RUPRECHT, Programme Specialist
Ms Marie-Pierre BLANCO, Secretarial Assistant



As UNESCO’s principal gender focal point, the Division is responsible for promoting and monitoring the mainstreaming of gender issues throughout the Organisation's programmes.

With the help of designated Gender Focal Points at the Headquarters and in the Field Offices, gender mainstreaming in taken into account in UNESCO's initiatives.
