TVTC carries out the Kingdom’s policies of workforce development through the TVT system, which consists of three sectors: technical colleges, secondary institutions and vocational training centres. There are now 35technical colleges, 35 secondary institutions and 65 vocational training centres throughout the Kingdom, in addition to more than 1000 private
organizations accredited by TVTC. New training programs were developed and installed simultaneously in respond to the demand of labor market.
Since its inception in year 1980, TVTC explores all possible means available to explore the methods of development in our vocation national curriculum to cohere the rapidly changing demand of national and international labor markets.

- Develop, licence and offer vocational and technical training programs for males and females according to quality and quantity needed by the labor market. And to enact rules and regulations governing their quality and also to supervise these programs.
- Conduct research and carry out projects necessary to follow up international technological development in technical and vocational training.
- Participate in National programs that adopt transfer of technology s their policy, and support the privet sector.
- Encourage the privet sector to invest in technical and vocational training.
