The PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education, Bhopal is a constituent of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) – an autonomous organization of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development. It is an apex National Research and Development Institution in the field of Vocational Education and Training, with a mandate for research, development and training of functionaries in Vocational Education and Training, including Principals and Teachers. The Institute also provide technical inputs for policy development, guidelines development, evaluation, monitoring and international cooperation on VET. The Institute offers training for teachers in the field of entrepreneurship development, environment education, generic skills development, Information and Communication Technology, research management of VET institutions, etc. The Divisions of the Institute are as follows:
