The core activity of the Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training is to monitor and assure quality of the provision of TVET in private and public training institutions in the country.
The Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training is formed with three divisions: namely the Division of Curriculum Development and Planning, the Monitoring and Quality Assurance Division and the Divison of Administration.
The first division deals with the development of curriculum, planning, and TVET research.
The second division monitors institutional activities, supervision and assessment, coordinates the activities of the institutions and follows the management of information systems of DTVET. The third conducts the necessary administrative functions for the department.
