Moreover, UCWR offers non-degree training covering a wide spectrum of issues and tools for water resources management.
1.MSc in Water Resources Development and Management
2.MSc in Hydrology
3.MSc by research

The Chair also provides non-degree courses aim at giving civil service workers working with governmental and private sectors, a chance to get acquainted with the current scientific innovations for use in their work areas. These courses have their importance in changing experiences, inoculation of ideas and technology transfer. There are several such courses conducted by UCWR. Some examples are shown in table below.

As the first of its type in the region, a Regional ToT (Training for Trainers) in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) conducted by UCWR in September 2004 has brought together participants from a number of networks and fostered cross networks collaboration. Khartoum region ToT experience has been supported by the UNDP Cap-net, with co-sponsors including UNESCO Cairo Office, UNESCO-IHE, GWA and UCWR

The Chair undertakes a number of research projects in collaboration with several regional and international networks and programmes as well as local institutions and partners.
