Kwharizmi International Award (KIA) 2009 Tehran

22nd International Khwarizmi Award (KIA) held in Tehran and 38 selected projects praised

The festival is held every year to introduce and honor achievements of Iranian and foreign researchers and academicians.

The ceremony held on February 3 in the Islamic Conference Hall, Tehran. During the one-day festival, 25 national and 13 foreign projects were selected out of a large number of projects received by the festival secretariat and presented and praised.

The Khwarizmi International Award is annually organized by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) to encourage individuals who have made outstanding achievements in research, innovation and invention, in fields related to science and technology.
