Titles for
management, research and capacity-building (1980-1995)
This document contains titles of materials which are either (i) published by UNESCO or (ii) a direct result of one or more of its programmes. The common denominator is that all listed materials (books, journals, articles, promotional materials and electronic media) deal with subjects pertinent to coastal regions and small islands. The list is arranged by the units responsible for or associated with the titles, and the citations are the responsibility of these units. Language versions are indicated as follows: Arabic (Ar), Chinese (Ch), English (E), French (F), Russian (R), Spanish (S). Many titles can be consulted in libraries and documentation or depository centres, and in some cases extra copies may be available. At the beginning of each section or subsection, the source or contact for further information concerning those titles is indicated. At the end of the document is a list of the full names, addresses etc. of the contacts.
The designations employed and the presentation of the material in this document do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the UNESCO Secretariat concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area or of their authorities, or concerning the delimitation of their frontiers or boundaries. The ideas and opinions expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the views of the Organization.
