    The objectives of this teacher training manual are in line with those of the National Population Education Programme. It is part of a 13 module series intended to help teachers in Nigeria develop a sound knowledge base in population education, skills and competencies as well as develop teachers' competence in the use of innovative methods in teaching population education.
