SHSviews Magazine: Breaking the language borders
 
After further development of SHSviews in order to take into account the three new priorities of UNESCO's programme in the field of Social and Human Sciences, the quarterly magazine will pursue its editorial development by publishing on a regular basis and as from the next issue a Spanish electronic version of the magazine on the SHS website.

Readers of the Russian electronic version of the magazine, published by UNESCO Moscow Office, following on shortly after the publication of the English and French versions, are invited to read issue number 19 in Russian. This issue contains an interview with Koïchiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO and lunched the first dossier in a series on the Social and Human Sciences within the Philippines National Commission for UNESCO. To be published mid-April, SHSviews 20 will continue the series with its second dossier on the Social and Human Sciences within the Canadian Commission for UNESCO. Within the framework of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which takes place this year in 2008, the next issue will also include an interview with the Chairman of the Network of the African National Institutions for Human Rights.Furthermore, as you may have already noticed, this monthly electronic news bulletin is also available in Arabic.
