Retraining School Educators in Application of ICT in Education

"Retraining of School Educators in the Application of ICT in Education" is the title of a training seminar for teachers and teacher trainers that the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) is organizing in Baku, Azerbaijan from 20 to 26 October 2003.
The seminar is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan and will be hosted by the Azerbaijan International University. The seminar programme is based on the Elementary ICT Curriculum for Teacher Training and Recommendations on Informatics for Primary Education prepared by IITE.

About 30 teachers and teacher trainers are expected to attend the seminar which is intended to increase their proficiency in using ICTs in education. The lectures and practical courses on how to integrate ICT into education will be provided by international experts and a team of instructors from the Perm State University.
