Tehran Office celebrated the International Women’s day on Monday 8 March 2010

All staff members got together informally and discussed the importance of the day, especially with regards to “Empowerment of women and Promotion of gender equality”. The female colleagues openly shared their views and opinions and the fact that how important a role they play in this world.

The Director and other male colleagues congratulated the ladies and thanked them for their contributions and valuable inputs to the work of UNESCO. A cake was cut jointly by the ladies to conclude this event.
