Why do we have these challenges?

THERE IS A LACK OF

1. ACCESS TO COMPREHENSIVE SEXUALITY EDUCATION

Teach young people about methods for preventing HIV, STIs and unintended pregnancy as well as skills that help them explore their own values, goals and options.

2. ADEQUATE, YOUTH-FRIENDLY SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH SERVICES

High quality, widely available health care that includes affordability, convenience and standardized services.

WHAT CAN WE DO?
JOIN TOGETHER.

BRINGING 21 COUNTRIES TOGETHER FOR ONE COMMON GOAL.

With a strong commitment from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the East African Community (EAC), Ministers of Health and Education from 21 countries have committed to keep young people's sexual and reproductive health information and services at the forefront of their national agendas.

One of the biggest issues is the gap that hasn’t been bridged between the knowledge and the laws that are out there that supports sexual and reproductive rights. There are policies there but how are they being implemented and directed to young people?
