Bamako

Mali is gradually recovering from violence and political unrest. While the country is engaging in recovery and reconstruction, humanitarian needs remain high

The UNESCO office in Bamako was established in 1998 as the national office for Mali in an effort to contribute to the sustainable development of local communities through its four main programme areas: education, science, culture, and communication.
