Regional Workshop on Strengthening and Standardizing Coordinating Mechanisms for Tsunami Warning in Central America from the 8 to 9 May 2017

This Workshop aims to share national experiences about the Standard Operative Procedures formulation and to share strategic aspects related to the Regional Protocol proposal for tsunami early warning
UNESCO and the CEPREDENAC contributed to the organization of the Regional Workshop on Strengthening and Standardizing Coordinating Mechanisms for Tsunami Warning in Central America to be held in San Jose de Costa Rica in the TRYP SABANA Hotel, on May 08th and 09th.
This workshop aims on one hand to increase coordination dynamics between the organisms whom role is related to the Tsunamis early warnings from a regional perspective. On the other hand, it seeks to share experiences and progress carried out in the Operative Standard Procedures as well as technical, methodological and strategic aspects related to the Regional Protocol for Tsunami warning.
